Last week we wished Hi-Obaa-chan (Great Grandma Sumiko) a safe flight home to Japan.   We feel so fortunate that we got to spend Minami’s first five weeks of life with her.  Obaa-chan sat with us on the couch day in and day out while we learned how to breastfeed and survive the first weeks of newborn life.
